The Stuttgart Counseling & Psychotherapy Network offers a comprehensive list of mental health professionals for the English-speaking population in Stuttgart and Baden Württemberg.

We are trained to listen attentively and to help you move forward and improve things.

It is important to note that not all counselors and psychotherapists work in the same way: there are different approaches. Research has shown that the therapeutic relationship between you and your practitioner is more important than the methods used. Therefore, before beginning to work with you, the practitioner will usually ask you to complete a form or attend an appointment to decide if you feel comfortable working together.

You may come from a non-English speaking background and be unable to find a practitioner who speaks your language. English is the common language of communication in today's world. Many of the practitioners listed on this website have a great deal of experience working with speakers of other languages, and all understand firsthand the challenges of moving countries.

For a list of members please see the Find a Practitioner page.
