About the Group
This workshop is not about “being good at art.” It’s about showing up for
yourself, exactly as you are, with an attitude of openness.
It is time and space to sit with yourself and see what surfaces, in the company of
a small group of other women. Using paper, images, textures, and colors you
will create two small collages that say something true about where you are at
this point in your life.
Collage asks nothing of skill and everything of attention. It is less about making something beautiful than about listening closely enough to discover what is already there.
Using mindfulness practices as an anchor, and creating intentional times of
silent reflection and group sharing, Maura Rohde, M.S., LPC will lead group
participants through a morning of creative expression and self-discovery utilizing
the medium of collage.
No particular talent or experience is required!
